Hey, I'm Bianca

I'm a yoga teacher and BJJ practitioner who helps grapplers move better, recover smarter, and last longer. My sessions blend breath, mobility, and strength specifically for the demands of Jiu-Jitsu... because rolling better starts with how you prepare your body.

Whether you're a white belt dealing with your first round of soreness or a black belt managing years of wear, I'm here to help you train smarter.

My approach combines yoga's body awareness with the practical demands of BJJ. Hips that open and rotate. Shoulders that stabilise under pressure. Breath that keeps you calm when it matters.

 

That's what mat-ready movement should be.

My Story

My journey began long before BJJ. I grew up practising Judo, and by 14 I had joined the Romanian National Judo Team, training alongside Olympic athletes. My dream was the Olympics too. But years of intense training caught up with me early. Constant back pain eventually forced me to step away from Judo.

 

Fast forward to 2022, and I found martial arts again. BJJ hooked me instantly, but within the first year, I was constantly injured, sore, and exhausted. At the same time, I was already practising yoga.

 

Every time BJJ broke me down, I was crawling back to yoga to heal.

As my yoga practice deepened, I took a yoga teacher training - and suddenly everything clicked.

 

Yoga shouldn’t be something you only turn to when you’re hurt. It should be part of your jiu-jitsu training from the start. A necessity. Like warming up… or like toast!

You can eat it dry, but it’s so much better with butter. You can do BJJ “dry,” or you can butter it (with yoga).

 

Looking back, I know many of my Judo injuries could’ve been avoided with the right mobility, awareness, and recovery.

 

And that’s why I do what I do now.

 

Your body won’t carry you through years of jiu-jitsu unless you take care of it... unless you butter it. 😉
